Technical Regulation of the Customs Union “On the safety of products for children and adolescents” (TR CU 007/2011)
This technical regulation applies to: clothing, shoes, baby clothes, dishes, books, etc., except toys adopted within the framework of the Customs Union between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
The requirements of this technical regulation are established in relation to the products listed in Appendix 1. The validity of this technical regulation does not apply to: products developed and manufactured for medical use; products for baby food; perfumes and cosmetics; sports products and equipment; textbooks, electronic educational books; toys, desktop printed games; furniture, products made to individual orders. 2. This technical regulation establishes mandatory safety requirements for products intended for children and adolescents on indicators of chemical, biological, mechanical and thermal safety in order to protect the lives and health of children and adolescents, as well as preventing actions that mislead users of products
