Technical Regulation of the Customs Union “On Railway Transport Infrastructure Safety” (TR CU 003/2011)
This technical regulation applies to the railway transport infrastructure, which includes:
- the subsystem of the high-speed railway transport infrastructure (railroad tracks, railroad power supply, automatic and remotely operated railroads, electric communication, constructions and installations of stations)
- the components of the subsystem of the high-speed railway transport infrastructure (the detailed list of these components is mentioned in the Annex No. 1 of the Technical Regulation).
This technical regulation of the CU does not apply to the infrastructure of railway transport intended for the movement of trains with a speed of more than 200 km / h (high-speed rail infrastructure). This technical regulation of the CU does not apply to the infrastructure of technological railway transport of organizations intended for the movement of people and property on the territory of organizations and the performance of initial and final operations with railway rolling stock for the own needs of organizations.
This technical regulation of the CU establishes the requirements for the railway transport infrastructure in order to protect the life and health of humans, animals and plants, the preservation of property, as well as preventing actions that mislead consumers (users) regarding its purpose and safety
